II.JOB & WORK EXPERIENCE:

1.     Eight months (5/9/2005 to 27/4/2006) in King AbdulAziz City for    science & technology’s clinic (the only dentist).

2.     Work in Security Forces Hospital –dental department- as dental resident, for one year (1/5/ 2006 to 1/5/2007).

3.     Registration & qualification from Saudi Council for health specialties since 2005.

4.     Pass the exam of Saudi board license from SCFHS in April 2005.

5.     Currently work as demonstrator in KSU, periodontal department.

V.  ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:

1.

Member of the Saudi Dental Society since 2004.

2.

Presented a seminar about my graduation project on “Patient satisfaction with dental services at health care centers in Riyadh city” at the College of Dentistry, Malaz on Sept. 9, 2004 (attached).

This work was published recently in Aafag Journal (vol. 9, May 2005, College of Dentistry) which is a local journal of the Saudi Dental Society.

3.

Co-author of a small book entitled “Handbook of the Prescribed Medications in Dentistry”. This work was supervised by Dr. Maysarh Al-Shawaf, and was funded by the Saudi Dental Society. The book was distributed during the annual meeting of the society (2004), and to the male and female students of the final year at the college (cover attached).

4.

Participated in the annual meeting of the Saudi Dental Society (2005) which was held in cooperation with the International Association of Dental Research (IADR), during the period 10-13/1/2005 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. A total of 25 hours was accredited.

5.

Presented a class research project (class 421 PDS) entitled “Increasing the awareness of esthetic dentistry among high school female students in Riyadh” on May 19, 2004.

6.

Participated in the annual meetings of the Saudi Dental Society since (2004).

7.

Participated in the fourth meeting of “Al-Harmain Doctors” which was held at the Saudi-German Hospital in Riyadh during Dec. 24-25, 2003. A total of 7 hours of medical continuing education was accredited.

Worked as a volunteer trainee during the summer (Aug. 19-25, 2003) at Hail Dental Center.

Participated in Jeddah Dental Esthetic Conference which was held by King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center in Jeddah at the Intercontinental Hotel in Jeddah during the period April 26-28, 2005. A total of 13 hours was accredited.

Participated in first Riyadh international & health meeting (RIDHM) 2006, 22 CE.

Attending the symposium on “Amalgm restoration: usage & safety issues “organized by SDS 2006- 4 CE. 

 

 

 

VI. NONE ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES:

1.

One of a three female student team who won the first place among all teams of the university female students during the championship of cultural activities of the academic year 2000/2001. (a letter of thanks and recognition from the dean is attached).

2.

Presented an educational lecture entitled “Towards a more beautiful smile” to the female students of the College of Education in Riyadh on May 17, 2004. (A letter of thanks and recognition from the Dean is attached).

3.

Participated, every year, in the annual “Charity Market” at the College of Dentistry. (A letter of thanks and recognition from the vice-dean is attached).

4.

Worked as a supervisor of the cultural social activities in the college of Dentistry (Malaz) during the past three years (2002 – 2004). (A recognition plaque from the college was received).

5.

Participated in organizing the “Festival of family-teeth health” which was held in cooperation between King Faisal Specialist Hospital and College of Dentistry during 2004.

6.

Presented two cultural lectures (with another female student) about “The Scientific Merits in Quran” in 2003. (A recognition plaque from the college was received).

7.

Wrote several articles in the university journal “Risalet Al-Jameh”.

8.

Participated in editing the college journal “Bassamat” at Malaz.

 
VII.  ACCREDITED TRAINING SESSIONS:

1.

A summer English course was attended at the British Council in Riyadh during the summer of 2000.

2.

Participated in the training session on “The Art of Excellent Presentation” at Ta’asil Training Center in Riyadh on Dec. 11, 2004. A total of 6 hours was accredited.

3.

Participated in the training session on “Thinking Direction” at Baiareq Training and Human Development Center in Riyadh on Oct. 7, 2003. A total of 6 hours was accredited.

4.     Attendance of course on “aesthetic dentistry “5 CE credit hours, in Riyadh College of dentistry & pharmacy 2006.
