Cranial Nerve I is the Olfactory Bulb & Tract derived as a telencephalic outpouching.
Cranial Nerve II is the Optic Nerve derived as a diencephalic outpouching (optic stalk).
Cranial nerves III-XII are true cranial nerves associated with cranial nerve nuclei located in the posterior fossa brainstem.
III = Oculomotor
IV = Trochlear
V = Trigeminal
VI = Abducens
VII = Facial
VIII = Vestibulocochlear
IX = Glossopharyngeal
X = Vagus
XI = Accessory
XII = Hypoglossal
