1993 Awarded the degree of Ph.D in Experimental Nuclear Physics by Manchester University, U.K, December 1993,

1994 Promoted to assistant professor in the department of applied science at King Faisal Air Academy, K.S.A.

1994-1997 Collaborated with the Field Training College R.S.A.F, Supervising short projects (3 Months each).

1999 Appointed assistant professor at the Physics Department, College of Science, K.S.U.

1- Presented a poster in the department of physics, Manchester University, on the Internal Conversion process in the atomic nucleus, 1989.

2- Presented a poster on the development of a highly efficient electron lens to study Internal Conversion process in neutron deficient nuclei, at the I.O.P conference on nuclear and particle physics held at the University of Liverpool, U.K, (April 9‑11, 1991).

3- Attended the biennial postgraduate summer school (Intensive study in different areas of nuclear physics for two weeks) held at Surrey University, U.K, 1992.

4- Presented a 10 minutes talk on Possible Intruder States and Shape Co‑existence in 120Xe, at the biennial postgraduate summer school (Intensive study in different areas of nuclear physics for two weeks) held at Surrey University, U.K, 1992.

5- Presented an hour talk of two parts, at King Abdulaziz and King Saud Universities, K.S.A, on low temperature on‑line nuclear orientation technique and the use of E0 transitions to establish the intruder nature of some excited levels and the shape co‑existence picture in the 120Xe nucleus, 1992.

6- Attended and presented a 15 minute talk on intruder states and shape co-existence at the North‑West Europe conference on nuclear physics held at the University of Edingborough, U.K, between the 31st of March and the 3rd of April 1992.

                             7- Attended a two days intensive course on TOSCA and ELEKTRA (vector fields) software used to design an electron spectrometer built to observe weak Internal Conversion electron lines with greater efficiency, 1992.
