Attended Conferences and presentations:

 

1- Presented a poster in the department of physics, Manchester University, on the Internal Conversion process in the atomic nucleus, 1989.

 

2- Presented a poster on the development of a highly efficient electron lens to study Internal Conversion process in neutron deficient nuclei, at the I.O.P conference on nuclear and particle physics held at the University of Liverpool, U.K, (April 9‑11, 1991).

3- Attended the biennial postgraduate summer school (Intensive study in different areas of nuclear physics for two weeks) held at Surrey University, U.K, 1992.

 

Presented a 10 minutes talk at the same school on possible Intruder states and shape co‑existence in 120Xe.

 

4- Presented an hour talk of two parts, at King Abdulaziz and King Saud Universities, K.S.A, on low temperature on‑line nuclear orientation technique and the use of E0 transitions to establish the intruder nature of some excited levels and the shape co‑existence picture in the 120Xe nucleus, 1992.

 

5- Attended and presented a 15 minute talk on intruder states and shape co-existence at the North‑West Europe conference on nuclear physics held at the University of Edingborough, U.K, between the 31st of March and the 3rd of April 1992.

                        

                             6- Attended a two day intensive course on TOSCA and ELEKTRA (vector fields) software used to design an electron spectrometer built to observe weak Internal Conversion electron lines with greater efficiency, 1992.

 

7- Attended the Int conference on nuclear and particle physics held at the University of Glasgow, U.K,(30 March‑1 April 1993).

 

8- Attended the first meeting of the Saudi Physical Society held at King Khalid University, Abha, Saudi Arabia 1424H/ 2003

13- Visited GSI laboratory in Darmstadt, Germany, 6-13 September, 2009 with two KSU postgraduate students to explore possible collaborations in the fields of nuclear physics and nuclear structure research between the nuclear group at KSU, KACST and the German nuclear Scientists at GSI.
