Description of Course Contents:
Study of the following animal groups as pests of agricultural crops: Plant mites, snails, slugs, rodents, birds and terrestrial crustaceans; their life cycle, symptoms, nature of damage and methods of protection and control.
Target of this project:
Training students how to find and collect phytophagus mites on different economic crops, prepare mites specimens, and finally to classify mites to at least the family level.
